In auagust 2008 I set up a watchlist of stocks on the bloomberg site. One of the lists was companies trading on the Lithuanian stock exchange. Havent looked at the list in a long time until now and just seen that one of the comapnies has a 245% increase in price since I created that list. Seems like an exceptional growth comapred to a lot of companies.

Not really. I hold two or three that have grown to this extent. Sure there are bond funds out there that returned over 100% in 2009 alone.

I have stocks on my watchlist with 1200% gain. I own couple of stocks with 400-700% gain.

Bought CROX in February 2009 for 1.15, was stupid enough to sell it with 20% profit. Now trades for 13.82. +1101.74%

I still own MAC. Bought for 5.65 in March 2009. Today closed 43.74, +642.67%.
