BBC1 HD now testing on Presely freeview hd dtt [available in parts of the south east]

BBC1 HD now testing on freeview hd
I'm receiving it here in Arklow from presely on ch 50 as a new service called service 17540

It's just a red card with the usual BBC one announcer graphics in the background and helicopter noises and the other announcer caption sounds and a caption saying starting with the one show on nov 3rd

I presume it's the same as what is on the sky test.

The beauty of this is,I can record it in hd when it starts along with RTE on the same epg.

It's now simulcasting BBC one and it has a dog,barely visible but a dog nonetheless on the top left saying BBC one hd.

I presume this is the london version but I'll check again arounf lunchtime if it has London's regional news.
If it's london,it's nice to have that via an aerial.
It's being swapped to the number one position on the sony freeview hd epg

The local news link at the start of the one news on this was not there.
Instead there was the "later in sports news" directly from BBC news 24.
So they appear to be doing something slightly different at newstime than itv1 hd.

My sony ex403 cannot see this test
A tune on ch 50 on that only shows the usual 3 services and not this fourth one.
I notice nobody on digital spy has reported see'ing it either except me.

That would have been the feed from News Channel at 1. There will be a caption pointing viewers to their local SD channels for News when the service goes live.
