Wireless repeater

i recently got wimax and have installed on the third floor to get the best signal. my laptop picks up the wireless from it all over the house but my ps3 is very weak. what can i do to get a stronger signal without moving either of them?

if its for PS3 which i presume you going to use the LAN cable, get Ethernet converter, where it will pick up the wireless signal and convert to 4 or 5 ports to the LAN only

OR

wireless repeater by using the DD-WRT router, which will extend your wireless range
