I might be able to get Black Ops around lunchtime on the Monday rather then picking it up at Midnight in Tescos which your probably looking at between 45 and 50?
I'm thinking I might go as far as €60 just to pick it up on the PS3.

Extra tenner to get it on the Saturday/Sunday. Maybe an extra fiver to get it on the Monday. I'll be in college so it's not like I'll have that much play time anyways.

I wouldn't pay extra to get it early. 1 extra day wont matter considering it will probably be the only game I play for the next 12 months. I have new vegas to tide me over until its released anyway.

Nah not paying any extra but will be hopefully getting it a couple of hours earlier, ok boardies might not be on but guarenteed there will be people getting it earlier either via internet orders arriving a day early, I don't think they are going to reset stats either. Anyway it might not happen either way I'll see you all around 12.30am on the 9th

For the convenience of not having to get up the next morning or go to the midnight launch (don't drive) I'd deffo pay a bit extra.

pay more money? dont think so, considering you are going to pay average about 50 euro for the game, and i only have part time hours at the moment, i wouldnt pay any extra for it early.

as Doyler said you would only be playing against yourself, id say there are serious embargo's on the game anyway, it would probably be very very hard to get your hands on a copy before very late on the monday night, unless you worked in Tesco or a super market somewhere that is not a leading game retailer (gamestop, game etc.) cause they would take the midnight release thing way more seriously then a super market. Although i tried tesco (ballybrack) before midnight last year and no dice, went back at midnight and there was a pretty bug queue.

Leadreboards and stats will all be reset at midnight also, like they did with MW2 so no one had an unfair advantage.

Im in Glasgow and will get it on Saturday same as MW2 and Reach, the store normally stick an extra fiver on it. Works for me as im nightshift next week and I cant be bothered leaving the house when on nights
