Parental Leave

    Hello all,

Quick question about Parental leave. Our first is due in December and I've applied for parental leave in January (Unpaid.. seen as dads are only entitled to 3 days paternity leave.. grr).

Can anyone tell me do I have to go to the social welfare office to sort out prsi credits etc, and do I need to contact primary payments/pensions too?

    Many thanks!

3 days unpaid leave isn't going to make a difference to your PRSI credits.

Kinna get the impression Trotter is aiming to take more than the three days allowed.
