manufacturer warranty for laptop batteries

    hello i bought a hp compaq laptop in january of this year from ebuyer.com it says on their website they only give 6 months warranty on batteries so can anyone tell me if HP give a replacement battery under warranty.

    Well as you said, the batteries are only covered for the first 6 months. They are a wear and tear item, they will gradually get worse and worse.

    is it 6 months manufacture warranty also it says 1 year on the HP website but nothing specific about the batteries.

    The laptop will generally have a 1 year manufacturers warranty, the battery will have less, usually 6 months.

    What's up with the battery?

    it says the battery needs replacing also when its plugged out it only lasts about 25 minutes, can you recommend any online shops or places in dublin to get a new battery. thanks for replying.
