    Hi All,

Any opinions on Digiweb fixed broadband?

I am in the Sandycove/Glasthule area. I was with UPC but they don't service the area. I download alot of large files for work (200MB+).

    I am being offered a 8mb download 1mb upload with 36:1 contention.

Metro has a cap, and it is strictly enforced. Those large files will add up quickly, and you could find yourself maxing that cap in a short period. That's the only thing you need to be aware of with Metro, it's generally very good (mainly because of the strict enforcing of the cap).

I was quoted a cap of about 60gb a month. So far I'm thinking if I'm careful and use a usb stick in work as much as possible seems like it would be fine.
