    Hi everyone,

As you have probably noticed, there have been some significant changes in the games category recently. After a long discussion here, it was decided by the users and the mods that the category would ultimately benefit from moving all specific game discussion to the main games forum here. Unfortunately, we didn't consult the users of the console specific forums on the changes. There has been some objections to this, and we apologise for the oversight. In an effort to clear up any confusion about what the changes are and what will become of the Nintendo forum, here is a general outline on what now belongs where:

    a) Threads about specific games (even console exclusives and downloadable titles) should be posted in the games forum linked above.
    b) All technical threads related to nintendo hardware issues belong here in the Nintendo forum.
    c) All threads regarding internet connectivity issues with your Wii, DS or other Nintendo hardware belong here.
    d) Threads about matchmaking (e.g. "looking for other Mario Kart players") or Friend Codes threads are still more than welcome here.
    e) Just want to reiterate R4 and other console modding devices should be asked in the console modding forum. Piracy is not allowed at all anywhere on boards.ie. Homebrew discussion is allowed on the Nintendo forum

Hopefully this has cleared up how the Nintendo forum will work going forward! We understand not everyone will embrace the change, and we would love to hear any feedback on the change so far. Again, we apologise for any confusion this may have caused over the last week or so, but hopefully all the regular Nintendo users will continue to post helpfully and frequently :)
