    Hey,

I'm a little confused by your post but I teach E.S.L. and I use enchanted learning and activityvillage.co.uk. MES english might be worth a look. I may have taken you up wrong, but if it is basic kind of stuff you are looking for you should google telf and esl worksheets.

Hi, Thank you for your help. Yes because its special needs adults i teach i find primary school website very helpful, because its easy and fun for them. I need info in relation to personal care eg, eating, excercise, stress, hair care, hygiene, clothing etc. These school website are good, but i was just wondering if there were specific websites designed more for special needs. Sorry if im confusing you. Thank you so much for your help so far. Those websites will help alot.

I've recently started teaching DF0175 Personal Care and Presentation Skills for the first time. I understand you are teaching people with special needs, but there are presumably still the same SLOs to follow? Anyway, I found a tutor resource handbook on the HSE website, which seems to be a well-kept secret as even HSE staff I've spoken to didn't know about it! It is called Don't Sweat It! and can be found at this link: www.hse.ie/eng/services/healthpromotion/dontsweatit.pdf Hope this is of some use to you.

For the minor ailments section, I found a little booklet from the Irish Pharmaceutical Union and the HSE that is really useful. Here's the link: http://www.feelbetter.ie/images/Feel_Better.pdf

Also, the Health Promotions Unit of the HSE have a load of downloadable booklets on their website: http://www.healthpromotion.ie/publication

Hope these are of use. Still trying to source free online stuff for the hairdressing and grooming sections. Any suggestions, anyone?
