    Hello.

Does anyone know anything about these? Anyone part of one?

I am trying to understand what should be the role and frequency of the committee. In my job it would be in relation to changes to company documents.

    Any idea's welcome!:D

Governing structures should only meet as required so it would really depend on how often do you expect things to be brought up for it to review?

You also need to think of:
    1) Who should be on it?
    2) What authority the structure will have/need to have?
    3) Who should set the agenda?
    4) Who's to send out the meeting notes and to whom?
    5) What is the exact scope going to be (need to be defined AND signed of by management)?

This will drive the meeting frequency etc. as well and if you don't do the above you'll end up with another paper tiger of wasted time for all involved.

Thanks a million for that. I will take those into consideration.
