access log in screen of a router w/o key password?

    Hi guys! :D

    Can I access a router's log in screen through:

    My laptop with wifi off
    Then connected to a Linksys g-expander with ethernet cable slot
    Then the linksys g-expander will search for that available router and if i type 192.168.1.1 will I see the available router's log in screen?

    Because I know the default username & password, and wondering if I can access the router w/o the pre-shared key for wifi but I know the username and password of the router. And all of this through that linksys g-expander w/ ethernet cable option. Anyone? Thanks in advance!
