I do a lot of childminding, and I always find it fascinating how children understand what time is and how it works. Like when they are 2, they don't understand that their parents left earlier and will be coming back, but they think because they are awake after being put to bed, it is tomorrow and their parents have been gone all night and aren't coming back! When they are a bit older, everything revolves around when lunch or bedtime is, and these are place-markers. Just wondering if anyone had anything I could read on the subject/explanation of how it works.
