Audi A4 lighting questions...

One of the dipped headlight bulbs has gone on my '04 A4 Avant. Seriously thinking about uprating them completely to HIDs, can anyone suggest a reasonably priced kit, purchasable in Ireland, that will compliment my car?

Also, has anyone uprated the rear reg bulbs to LED ones, the lighting seems dull and dreary in that area too.

    Thanks in advance,
    Neuro

Regards rear LEDs (i havent fitted these to my car) the LEDs are a straight swap as far as I know I dont know if there is a LED version for a stop and tail bulb however.

look on ebay.. usually a lot cheaper.. i would go for 4300k or 5000k but a max of 6000k anything after that will be really blue looking.. which looks crap imo.. led bulbs in the rear lights can show up a bulb fault on some of these cars.. on the vag diesels the glow plug light stays flashing. the leds draw less power than standard bulbs.. led number plate bulbs look sexy do!!

good ones have built in resistors too trick the comp in modern cars into thinking there is a normal working bulb drawing the normal amount of current. elimination the bulb fault.

i often seen ones where you have to wite in the resistors yourself.. never seen the tail and stop ones with resistors built in
