    Hi

I am a newbie here so apologies if I step on any toes.

I bought a bush 19" TV/DVD combo from Tesco a while ago and I cannot get a sky code to operate the TV from the sky remote.

I have tried all the sites and even rang bush helpline but no joy!

IF anybody out there bought one of these and got a sky code to work I would really appreciate it. Model is LCD19W08DVDHD

Go to bush and try some of them or the Alba codes. Most common are 0297 or 0449 or 0875.

Also check version of remote is compatible (inside battery compartment) "REV"

    Thanks STB

I tried all the codes and no joy I'm afraid.

I have all the latest remote controls - latest is sky+HD

I have almost worn out batteries trying so many codes.. I reckon my only hope is that somebody with the same model stumbled across a code that works!

try these - I set a Bush TV the other day I think it was the 0065 that worked for me.

remember you need to put a zero before the three digit codes.

    Bush - 0157, 246, 263, 377, 037, 064, 065, 310, 300, 383, 399, 391, 402, 339, 547, 292, 239, 389

    Thanks 1122

I tried all those codes and also the ones for Grundig and Goodmans but no joy I'm afraid.

Still waiting for somebody with that model who got a code working.

    Tanks again

Thing with Bush you dont know where they were assembled. I've seen claims of Matsui components. Apparently the HD series are 1239. Satcure have a list of Bush latest products submitted by owners. http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/digicode2.htm

I heard about multiple assemblers.. the guy at the bush customer support centre told me to try the goodman and grundig codes.. I tried those but no luck.

    1239 doesn't work either.

I will try some matsui codes.

    Thanks for your interest.

So what is the revision number of your remotes, guys?
Is it correct for the codes you are trying?

    1928 or 1982, 0081, 0206, 0649 with a REV8 remote.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it's best to buy a TV whose code is already listed.

I have a tv that wasn't listed anywhere and it broke my heart trying to find the code. In the end the Sony codes did the job. Might be worth a try.

Amen to that! - thanks for your efforts;)

Sky's Help Centre website suggests the following

    0642
    0688
    0742

Actually mods - any chance of putting the following link on a sticky ?
