    I can call a iphone from my mac no problem,but can I call a mac from a iphone.
    If so how?

    Use an email address to call the Mac. You can add one in Preferences in FaceTime on the Mac.

    I want to call my brothers macbook from my iphone,not mac to mac
    Can that be done cause i cant find any option for it on my iphone

    On your iPhone go to your contacts, navigate to your brothers contact sheet, tap on the facetime button and then select his email as the facetime contact.

    he must be logged into facetime app on the mac with that email address to be able to contact him

    it should be the email address for his itunes account

    Get him to download FaceTime on his Mac then set up any email address that he wants as his FaceTime "number" then you add it to his contact info on your iPhone and you're away.

    You can use any email you want, infact you don't even need an iTunes account. I have one each set up for my kids.
