the barrell is slightly worn, mechanic says it would cost 1k ,to fix,ie they,d out in a new ignition system.
She can start it by gently turning the key.
the cars value is 1200.euros.
HAS anyone any advice re this issue, the key has some kind of electronic chip, matched to the barrell.is there any alternative to spending 1 grand, the nct test is next wednesday.i think each barrell and key is unique ,to each car.
