Law Society Fees

Question for those who have/are hoping to attend PPC1 and or PPC2.

How did you fund these courses? I had to get a loan from my old man to pay for PPC1 and a loan to fund my way through the course. It is absolutely crippling. Have to find the cash to pay for PPC2 next spring- I think I can pay a lot of it through work but still have to save in excess of 2K and im earning f.a in my office as it is. Does anyone think the Law Soc might take people's financial status when determining the fees (yea, right...) I know all about grants/bursarys and unsuccessfully applied last time and didnt get anywhere. A lot of those in big firms dont know how well they have it having their fees paid. It is a huge burden. I cant go to my parents again (mainly as they dont have the money anymore) and will probably be unsuccesful in getting a second loan from the bank to pay for fees
