For all of you who have spent time watching this process...

I'm planning on using a cardboard box as a costume for Halloween. And then painting something on the box, thinking of being an Ipod.

Thing is, Halloween party is Saturday and I won't have time to paint the box until Saturday. Does it take a long time to dry? I've no idea what kind of paint, whatever I can find in the local store. And it will be on cardboard.

    Any rough estimate? Cheers.

Get yourself some poster paint in any good arts and crafts shop and paint it as soon as you can. The paint doesn't take long to dry at all - should be grand if left overnight but don't leave it to the last minute ;)

Cheaper alternative would be emulsion pain (ordinary indoor wall paint). If you paint it in the morning and leave it somewhere warm (warm room) it will be fine.
