Deleted Angry Birds - Help!

I suspect my 2 yr old deleted Angry Birds from my iPhone 4 over the weekend and now I'm panicking that all my game data is lost...

If I resync with iTunes will it also delete my backed-up game data?

I'm wondering if I installed it again on the phone, and synced, would it restore the data from the backed-up iTunes version?

If I can't get may game data back I might as well delete it as I'm not going through THAT again!

Ouch, that hurts.

Just resynching and adding the application again probably wouldn't add the game data back. If you restore from backup, I think it should restore your game saves ... I think. But if it's not a recent backup, you'll probably lose a lot of recent messages, contacts changes, etc.

Google searching seems to think that too... am giving it a shot now. I backed up on Friday and got any photos off the phone from the weekend manually. Fingers crossed :pac:

I've only played Battleships in GC so I doubt it has my Angry Birds data?

Pretty sure all of my GC games have been added automatically to it...at least I have no recollection of adding anything to it and Angry Birds is definitely in it...anyway I hope it works out for you-same thing happened to me a while back (before GC) and I had to start all over again.

Restored from backup - wtf - Angry Birds still not on the phone. :pac:

So either that just didn't work at all, or maybe the app was deleted on prior to my last backup on Friday (which I doubt).

Actually... just now reinstalled it via iTunes and synced... it seems to be rememebering my scores.

Not sure why or how - but I ain't complaining!
