Tax credits

Hi, my wife has just gone on maternity leave but prior to that she was on a 3 day week (for around 16 months). A couple of months ago I was advised to ring the tax office to ask if some of her credits could be moved over to me and I ended up getting an extra few quid a week in my wages. All good, but now thats she is on maternity leave should I leave it alone or ring to see if they could move over some more credits? I'm taking another pay cut and trying to claw in some more money.

    Thanks.

Assuming that she is not now being paid from work and her only income is Maternity Benefit (which is not taxable) yes you could get more of her credits moved for now, alternatively you can get a 2010 review run in early January if you would rather (and get a bit of a lump sum together). You will have to ask to have 2011 done separately, it mightn't happen automatically.
