God sorry, I just think that's really bad taste. Anyway a short wig like her hair, cheap tiara from a 2 euro shop and any old ball gown would probably look the part.

Why on earth is it bad taste?

I think getting the hair right will be the most important thing as it's pretty distinctive.

It would only be in bad taste if you decide to go as the fatally-injured Diana, head wound, brains/blood n'all. ;)

Pencil skirt in black, fine beige round-neck jumper, string of pearls, clip on fake dimante earrings, short blonde wig gelled out to blow dried look, tiara, court shoes.

Plenty of people dress up as dead famous people...Elvis,Michael Jackson,American Presidents...Diana is no different.

How about something like this? It's a big meringue dress which echoes her wedding dress.

It's not bad taste, it's a hen party, the theme is dead celebs, She was amazing, a fashion icon of her time so I don't see how it's ok for people to go as Marilon and it's not for Diana!

Thanx for the tips, yeh it's the wig that's the tricky part!
