Blackberry Curve: SMS Icon Missing!

    My Blackberry Curve SMS icon has gone for the menu...
    I can not receive messages either :confused:

    I have been looking online and I see there is others that are having this problem. I have tried taking the battery out,I've searched all the folders and have made sure show all is on.....

    Can someone please help me. Thanks.

    Did you try to resend the service books to the device? sounds like something in the OS got corrupted
