Bottled Gas Heaters

    Anyone got any advice on the use of bottled gas heaters - are they really as bad as I've heard, if so why are so many being sold, am considering invsting in one myself this winter but have heard some horror stories regading condensation etc, would welcome any comments.:confused:

    got one a few years back great heat and quickly:D

    but

    not cheap one bottle lasted a month, fumes, and condensation:(

    Mobile gas heater are not intended to be used as a permanent/ primary heat source. (Gas regs IS813).

    You usually need additional fresh air for combustion and maintaining air quality in room.... (condensation issue as discussed).

    They have come on alot in years and all have safety devices on them to shut down if oxygen is depleted in room... but I wouldn't use one at night.
