Ive a complaint about a lecturer in the university. My subject has two modules. One is grand and Im confident in it. The other is with this guy and he obviously hasnt a clue. Im afraid I may not pass this module and its only week 6! Alot of students are getting fed up at this stage with him and we need to know where to launch a complaint about him?

Be very careful about complaining about a lecturer... as if it is not handled carefully it can end badly for the student.

As regards passing the course, the lecturer generally sets the exam paper, and they cannot ask you something that they haven't covered.

If they are new at the course ask him/her to give you some sample questions or to do a tutorial on top exam questions or to pick questions from previous papers which are relevant and ask them to correct your answers or give you pointers.

If they have taught this course before then you should be able to see from past papers the kind of question that comes up, maybe you could go to students from the year ahead of you and ask for help. Or again ask the lecturer to assign relevant questions and correct or give you pointers on your answers.
