    Rechargeable batteries do the trick.

But if its wired you want then i'd go for these....

Got Turtle Beach x11's for 65€ i think a while back on amazon.co.uk.

Great sound quality and the chat is crystal.

However theres this constant hissing sound! if i'm talking to people i don't mind it but if i'm playing by myself i don't really like it on. Theres also no surround sound but you'd have to pay a good bit more to be getting that.

if your looking for a headset that will tell where the footsteps are around you im not sure this is the one. I can definitely hear footsteps but not necessarily the direction there coming from.

Actually there pretty handy for Reach.....Saved me from many an assassination.

also see turtle beach ship to Europe now? Should check that out

EDIT: Shammy beat me too it!

also what about these do they work wiht the 360? http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/ps3-gaming-headsets/ear-force-px21.aspx

and by rechargable batteries does that mean contoller play and charge kit? cause if yes then the ones that plug into the controller would be no problem

yes they do.... at least it says they do on the site.

I think he means battery's like AAA's that you have two sets of. So when one set runs out you have a charged second set

so they run on batterys any other way the can be powered? as i see that being costly and rechargable batterys arent great

with the x11's px21's and x31's the are good but no surround sound , the link i posted above , they are pretty new and are wired with 7.1 surround sound. It all depends on your budget.

Personally i dislike wired headsets , i have the x3's and px21's (wired) i use recharageable batteries for the x3's , they take 9 hours to charge but i get about 30/40 hours game time out of them. I would get the x41's only there are too many problems with them.
