It's getting to that time of the year when the waterproofs have to come out , looking to get an waterproof jacket. not a fan of full sleeve jackets so was thinking of getting a half-sleeve one . i find the full sleeve wasterproof jackets restrictive . just wondering if many here have a half sleeve waterproof jacket and how do you find it . thinking of getting this one

    That site seems very expensive.

I'm sure its fine as long as you are happy with soaking wet arms!

I and my Oh have both have one and find them great as I too find full jackets restrictive.

Mines Kartel bought it in Carne for €45

That link isn't opening for me so not sure what one you were considering. I've this one

It's a full sleeve jacket but you can remove the arms which I find very handy and less restrictive in warmer weather when wearing short sleeves anyway but gives you the option of having full sleeves for the really wet and cold winter conditions. Find it a very good jacket overall and got it cheaper than advertised in the link from a local pro shop in Galway golf club.

I use my half sleeve in the winter with under armour etc underneath and dont have a problem with cold/wet arms...
Though using a golf glider means I have hands free to carry an umbrella...

If it's windy or light showers then I use a half sleeve one. I don't mind getting my arms wet. I find them much easier to play in. However if the rain is lashing down then I resort to full wet gear.
