I had an accident the other day and accepted it was my fault so other guy is claiming off my insurance as am i. His damage wasn't too bad but mine was.. thing is i had defaulted payment the last 2 months by not having enough money in my bank account to cover the DD.. i did pay the defauted months and the current month by laser on the day an hour after the accident, will they still payout?
They hadn't mentioned this fact to me when i rang them, all they did was ask a few questions about the accident and suggested a garage where i could bring my car to be repaired.. i went to the garage and got a courtsey car for a week, i got another call saying they were sending an inspector out to the garage to check it out and assess the quote.
Has anyone any experience with this? Do ye think they will payout???

posting this in AH too, as i want as many opinions as possible.

They accepted payment after you crashed if insurance worked like that ....Also why didn't you check if you are so sure fact is you crashed without insurance so you are personally liable for the issue up to all the stuff you have in the world and also may face jail
Leave the country run don't walk. Although I'm probably overreacting

I will answer your question but you firstly have to acknowledge that you have been driving around uninured for the last two months , and if the other persons car wasn't too bad you may have been better off fixing him up . The fact that you are trying to also get your car fixed up will i think amount to fraud . There is off course the burning question of how you could pay the two months once the accident occured.

in regards to your claim i imagine you paid first and then notified them ? these days ins co are sending out to check out even small claims you may get away with it but someone senior may have to sign off on it and thats when it might be spotted, someone from insirance co may have more info

i drove into a fella once years ago i was looking at these two girls in short skirts and yer man stopped for no reason so i hit him
he was in truck i was on a bike so he didn't have whiplash
i gave him 100 euros for the lights i broke and i had insurance
you are on thin ice and i hope you dont end up paying the piper for eating the queens of hearts broken promises
