    Hi,

I got a punch to the mouth last night in a nite club in town, long story so I won't get into it. Basically my front tooth was broken and there is a bit left just wondering what I can do. I've been told to get a crown.

    Any advice? Thanks

You would be amazed at the technology available in dentistry now. A few years ago a new material was developed which isn't technically a crown, but it will be added on to the broken tooth and after which it will look exactly like the other tooth. I'm not sure what its called but its very tough and shouldn't need to be replaced ever.

"shouldn't need to be replaced ever"....all dental work will need to be replaced eventually. Only diamonds last forever;)

    Composite.

Cost you about 100-200 for 1 tooth. It does need to be replaced and looked after on a yearly basis for discolour etc.
