Iphone 3G Facebook chat

Hi All,

Facebook chat on my iphone wont work. I'm online and see my friends online but when i send a chat message i get the message - "your message cannot be delivered at this time"

Any ideas to get this sorted?

i dont think it updates the chat straight away, so someone shows up as online but could be just gone offline

the facebook app is crap anyway

I had the missus online and sent her a message and i still got the undelivered message back. Does it work for you?

sometimes yeah but i get that message alot aswell

i dont use chat that much, but i find the app better than the website!
i only go onto FB on the phone when im sitting idle tbh but find the app eeasier to use etc.

though i dont like the way you cant play the games on it ie. poker etc

Your problem is more than likely that you are on off-line mode on the regular facebook, make sure you're on-line there and it should work. It did for me.

i never set the chat to offline and i get that message regularly

just download im+, its a great chat client for all major chat sites, i.e. google, yahoo, msn, aim etc.
