What time is dinner time for you?

    When I saw This thread I thought it was going to be a time of dinner thread but it wasn't so I thought I'd start one.

    What time is Dinner Time in your household or what time would you usually settle down for it at?

    I know some people who eat theirs at about 5:30-6 o clock but I think that is far too early but thinking back when I was a childer,thats what time ours was at,now I'd more think of having din-dins at around 8

    Anyways,over to you!!

    Not necessarily - traditionally, dinner used to be eaten in Ireland at what is now considered to be lunchtime, then the evening meal was "the tea" / "teatime".

    A lot of people still eat that way around the country.

    It's still mundane, as is that other thread. So conformist. I don't like to eat dinner or food in general the way other people do. I rather opt for all the nutrience I need to be filtered into my body using intravenous therapy.

    Only boggers who think lunch is for yuppies eat dinner in the afternoon - and have supper/tea (the meal, not the drink - they'd call that "tay" anyway). And extremely old people.

    Although an exception could be made for Sundays...

    If i cook its ready by six, usually don't eat later than 6.30pm unless we are eating after the little one has gone to bed...

    she eats her pasta/organic vegetables and meat around 5.30. well that or 6pm with us if we are eating something she can have:D
