Please help headset trouble!

    Hi guys im not sure if this is the right place to put this thread but ill give it a go .... i have earforce PX21s console gaming headset the problem is the sound is fine through the ears but the mic donest work it used to i went on today and the was a cracking noise when i moved and it was the mic now it stopped working altogether does any 1 know where i could get it repaired ?? its just the wire that needs replacing any help is much appreciated! :(

    From experience, the turtlebeech mic's are horrible, mine is soooo quiet even tho when i go to test, its actually quite loud... wierd. So yeah its probably just ****ed. Not sure where you could get it fixed, if anywhere. I tried a diy job on my old one... not so good.

    i found mine were good i was thinking about a diy but i wouldnt know where to start and id need to get wires and all and urs didnt go so well??

    no :D I ****ed up with the soldering and destroy one of the earpieces ha :D

    Take it back to the shop and they'll replace it.

    why dont you try using a standard aux cable to see if that helps
