Tanky made contact with me earlier,.

Spaff have joined forces with Fintac (Sekra's crowd) and Red Hammer Studios and got themselves a new really powerful dedi server (i7 930, 8Gb ram, on gigabit network) in Germany which they want as many of us as possible to test performace and to try break the mission later this week. My pings to the server are 63ms

Takistan Rhapsody is 2 teams, 12v12 for the moment, its all the Lazery Attack server would cope with but they will be increasing this.

    Who's interested?

I've the mumble details, its the only thing running on the server but they're not using it yet. Arma isn't actually installed yet, it'll be a day or 2

    Server ip: 213.239.206.79
    port: 64738

It will answer pings so see how Your ping times are

Guys, their mumble and server have been running for a while and we've not dropped by, I might drop in this evening to say Hello and see how it plays. They did ask us to testbreak the Takistan Rhapsody mission. Save these:

    Mumble:
    Server ip: 213.239.206.79
    port: 64738

    Arma2 OA server:
    Server ip: 213.239.206.79
    port: 2302
Passworded, but ask for it on mumble

    Hi guys,

Just a quick note. We've really had a good week on the development of this mission, in particular, anti baserape scripts are working a treat meaning we've shrunk the exclusion zones a lot.

Still happy to have you guys drop in and play. Either as a coop or TvT.

We've also moved over to TS3. Server trackers at www.teamspaff.co.uk

I'll try to get a changelog for you guys so that you don't get any unexpected surprises.

For example, the Salvage Truck, the one that makes FARPs has been changed to a repair truck and the original repair truck has been removed. Oh and also, all the fixed wing and the Chally have been removed.

Oh and nearly forgot, we might be using beta 77007, not sure yet.

It has been reported to be much more secure and the VRAM management is much improved, so might be worth a try.

Really enjoyed that, guys. Many many thanks for helping make it happen. I noticed one bug. When you chaps took the last town -quite a surprise, I though we'd done enough, but I think we arrived late to the battle- it gave the blufor guys in the town the bonus points. I'll look into that. If you want to submit bugs and stuff, go here. http://213.239.206.79/devhell

Enjoyed that, needs to be on veteran tho, seeing markers on the map makes it too easy to aim Arty.

Ok if we play this on our server? Wanna get some of our newcomers setup with this.

I'm gonna host the combo pack on our Yoma, can u notify me when it gets updated. (I've removed the Chally). Can You also list what mods are allowed on the server, I know JSRS is fine, any others?

Because of the above bug, you can remove 30 points from each blufor player and so 150 from the main blufor score. It has to be said though that my score is hugely inflated by my Warrior kills and both Ballistic and Lincks got plenty in Wildcats, but you guys did seize the last town and more side missions.

I meant to run it on veteran. We've been saying when we play it as a coop that we need to. We will do so in the future. You're most welcome to run it on your server. I'll update the combo install today.

Thanks for the Yoma link. I don't use it but I'll let the fellas know it there.

BTW we didn't much like the beta (77007), framerate seemed to be improved and the server rpt was a whole 11KB, but clients got z fighting, tree LODS unloaded... all kinds of rubbish so we didn't use it. I'll probably shut that server down until a decent beta comes along.
