Sorry if this crosses the line on medical advice, but I'll ask anyway.

I want to get checked out for OCD & dyslexia, but I don't really know how to go about it.

Is it best just to go to my GP & see what he can do?

I'm a little confused because I've only gone to my GP for physical problems, never mental stuff, so it just seems a little odd to me.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks.

http://www.dyslexia.ie/ might be a good place to start?

@ocd kid - If you're still at school, your special needs teacher will be able to organise testing for dyslexia. Some schools (such as those in CDVEC) have their own in-house teams of educational psychologists, others need you to go private. It can be expensive.
    Good luck.
