Myself and my family will be arriving into Heuston Station at 10:00am tomorrow morning.

I was thinking we would just hoof it towards the Trinity area to catch the finish.

Anyone recommend a good spot in that area?

(We will have a pram/buggy with us.)

    Cheers.

The area around Trinity will be jammers, unless you get there very early. You could always line the streets before mile 26 where you'll be close to the finish but you'll get a good enough view.

it will be very crowded up by Trinity/Grafton St. area by that time as the elites will be coming in shortly after 11.

i'd say you'll be fine with the buggy as long as you don't try to get too close to nassau st. direction as it will be wedged up there.

    Thanks for those suggestions.

I guess we will aim for the Pearse St side of Trinity and see how jammers it is there.

If it is too stuffed we can walk on towards mile marker 25 etc.

as someone who'll be running tomorrow - can I also suggest Grand Canal St. as a great place to stand. It will be less crowded but will still have a good buzz as there's a spar on grand canal st. which is a designated "cheering zone" and there will be a good build up of people in general around here.

runners will also see you well before the big crowds further in and your support will be all the more appreciated :)

Last year it really wasn't that busy along the final strech until nearer the 3hour mark. Most of the people along the street before that just seemed a bit perplexed about why some of us were stood looking down the street.

You could catch some of it on the south circular and then head in to town for the finish. Shelbourne road was quiet the last time I ran it, could do with a few extra spectators.

My plan is to go in to the start and catch the leaders at the 1 mile mark, then head out dame st /Thomas st and meet them again at 9 miles or so, then back down dame st to the finsh. Should work out well.

Watched it from the corner where they turned right onto Westmoreland street.

    It was a good spot.

Then we switched to Nassau Street after the 4hr crew passed thru.

A bicycle would be the best way to get to different points on the course if one was motivated enough. Especially in today's fine conditions
