Iphone 4 just stopped working :(

Just stopped working a few mins ago, turned itself off now nothing happens when i go to turn it on?! Have it 2 months and hasnt turned off or stalled or anything, whats the story with that :( anyone know what it might be

ok i did a search and it said to press the on button and the sleep/home button for 10 secs, it worked! Glad it worked but what the hell happened to save me ****ting myself in future

its a mini PC, every now and again its likes to be shut down and restarted to reboot it, just like a PC/Laptop imo.
