    Hello,

    A friend has bought a '98 A4 1.9 TDi .. But it's leaking oil from somewhere around the dipstick from what I can gather. I've tried to look under the car but it's covered in muck and oil residue, so can't really see what's going on. Got a cloth yesterday and cleaned a bit under the car, and then noticed that the oil was dripping onto the anti roll bar* (i think that's the one anyway) then onto the road.

    I've attached a picture. Oil was dripping from somewhere onto that bar.


    Any pointers ?

    No pointers.

    Need a photo of the reality not a diagram please. Perhaps a few photos from different angles.

    He said he's going to his local garage tomorrow and put it on the ramps and see what's wrong. I'll keep this updated.
