I would very much like every bodies valuable opinion on what dress i should get for my engagement party. I am 5ft 1 and a size 8-10 and slightly pear shaped with blonde hair. I would love your help thanks

I dunno. They seem a bit too 18th birthday partyish for an engagement party? Saying that I've never been to an engagement party. And you're small so they wouldn't be as short as I'm making them out to be..eep!

The blue is the nicest, ant to be honest I would steer clear of the nude/peach ones. It's your engagement party, you want to stand out, and I imagine lots of the guests will be wearing brighter bolder colours so you don't want to melt into the background.

Blue's the best in my opinion.

The third (blue) dress is by far and away the nicest. The rest are all a bit wishy-washy and don't seem to emphasise the fact that you've just become engaged. They're all too young-girlie

Another vote for dress three. It's lovely and more mature than the others, which would be more appropriate for your engagement party. How tall is the girl modelling that dress though- wow, it looks like a tee-shirt on her, eek!

I think three is the winner for me tbh!
Id be careful of the likes of number 5, the skirt of it can make you look very chunky at the hips/legs/bum. That kind of design only words on girls with a very straight figure and no bum to give them a bit of shape

I think that they are all a little too fussy to be honest, but agree that the blue one is the nicest of the bunch.

I think something like what Twee wore for her 21st (see WDYWT thread) would be a better choice. She looked fantastic and the dress itself was very plain but really complimented her figure (and beauty!) Nothing beats a little black dress sometimes.
