Didn't realise these lads were still on the go. I always thought they were pretty weak, lyrically especially.

That Diet Pills and Magazines song they had a few years back was woeful. It sounded like it was written by a transition year student.

Took a listen to Just Like Bukowski there. It's pretty run of the mill. Don't hear any huge Deadweatherishness coming off it.

Humanzi aren't that great, but here's my favourite ode to Bukowski in song

bet you thought it was gonna be Modest Mouse, or maybe Nick Cave

Always thought they rocked and got a lot of bad press.

Twitter rumour was that Workman's Club gig this month was their last, anyone know anything about that or can confirm?

I hope they don't split because they've been playing this newer song that hadn't been recorded called Dogs which is brilliant.

Here's my vote for "Best Bukowski reference in a song", maybe it's a thread in itself.

I might have gone for Dr. Bucks Letter by The Fall but I don't think it's actually about the man and DOOM has Bukowski making a posthumous appearance.
