There may be a screw loose on the frame, make sure they're all tightened fully and try again. Have you tried moving it manually?

I believe Lefty means have you tried moving the slide manually.
Move it slowly and use a torch and try and see where its getting caught.
Does the slide get stuck when you have the magazine out?

Is it sticking in mid cycle or full locked back?
If fully locked back - just check to see if the hammer is holding the slide back (by pulling it with your thumb) and see if the slide moves forward.

Could also be that it needs a new outer barrell...
Was it dropped or posible there's grit in the slide?

Sounds like a new outer barrel might be wortha try, but best let someone experienced with the model have a look before splashing out.

This could be it, after a while the screw in the front holding the trigger assembly in can get loose and everything gets a bit rattly, there are a couple of other screws also.

If you take off the slide you could see if there are any visible loose screws, it would be easy to tick off as a possible cause.

I'm no expert on the subject, but have you tried to make sure that the safety lever in the red, isn't catching the notch in the blue?
