for give me, but 400g @ €2.74 therefore 800g would be €5.48, compared to €6 for 975, not as much better value as it seems!

Tesco also has the 975g tins for €7.. not the cheapest in this thread, but not a bad price.

Hi lads just a word of warning I have bought a box ever year like most people in Ireland.

Right well bought a 7 euro box for staff last week in work so we could all eat.

Can I add that unlike years previous there was feck all in the box choclates wise there was not much at all compared to other years.

Its not like me to give out about a tin of roses but that's what I noticed and people in work said the same.

got a tin of celebrations at weekend for €7 in Tesco and feel really sick now! why do you eat them faster when there are more there?? Oh yeah it must be because I am a pig!!

Last time I passed SuperValu on Aston Quay they were still doing the ~ 1KG boxes of Roses, Quality Street and Celebrations (or was it Heroes?) for €6.50. I did this just after buying one for €7 in Tesco. Oh well...

Tins are now €5.99 in Dunnes.. at least they were yesterday.

yeah still €5.99 for the big tins in Dunnes (roses, celebrations, QS etc), also a good deal on large Cadbury selection boxes at half price.
