Which car to get - Auris, Leon, Megane or C4?

I'm looking into buying a new car and have narrowed it down to the Toyota Auris, Seat Leon, Renault Megane or the Citroen C4. I would most likely go for a diesel.

I don't have a lot of knowledge on cars and would like to hear what people think would be the best of the four. Also any experience that people have with these and info would be great.

Toyota are doing a very good scrappage deal at the moment as well as 3 years free service if that helps the decision at all.

Have you thought of the Hyundai i30 at all? that's supposed to have same engine and chassis as the VW golf (i think). putting it in the same class as the cars you've already mentioned

The i30 and Ceed are the same car. Nothing to do with VW Golf

LOL he must be watchin the ad too much. Looks like a Golf, sounds like a golf..:D The only thing the Golf and the i30 have is that they are cars..;)

Op what about the Focus.

There is a new C4 around the corner, and Focus too so would not consider current models of either.

Auris is deathly dull in every way, Leon has an awful dashboard and VW bits, good or bad depending on what you think of VW quality, of the cars you list the current Megane would be my choice, in estate form. If you were willing to wait until next year, the new Focus looks like a big step forward.

New model looks really well especially in the right trim with nice wheels (and 3dr).
