What next?

I'm a massive fan of American TV. I love binging through entire TV series' and I am currently running out of good shows. I really love action-crime dramas such as The Wire or The Shield. Anyone got any idea whats would be a good show for me next? Show's I've watched entirely and currently watching:

I've probably watched a few others which I can't think of off the top of my head. Not interested in crap such as Jersey Shore or anything like that. I have yet to watch Mad Men or Prison Break. Would y'all recommend them? Anything else good I'm missing out on?

+1 Ncis is my current favourite. New series 8 on FX Friday's at 9.

Battlestar Galactica or Stargate Universe (don't bother with earlier series, bit boring imo) if you're into sci-fi space operas. BSG is one of my favourite series i've watched

also check out the recommendations sticky at the top of the forum. each series has a "Watch this if you like..." thing.

The first two seasons of Prison Break are a good watch. Have you watched CSI. The first few seasons of CSI Vegas are good. I would recommend True Blood too.

Edit: Modern Family is a great comedy too.

I HATE the whole vampire thing that seems to be popular at the moment... BUT True Blood is actually good... I would add that to the list certainly..

Prison Break, which you have listed on your list of "to dos".. I would start with that..

Yeah "Sons of Anarchy" is very good. Not really about motorbikes and all that, lots of Soprano's moments.

And "Rescue Me", at least the first 3 seasons are well worth watching. I am still watching Season 5 but only because I'm addicted.

was dennis leary as a cop,
only ran for 2 seasons

+1 for Sons of Anarchy. Have a look at the pilots of Human Target, Justified, White Collar, Leverage and Southland aswell and see what you think. I'd put the first 4 in the same kind of category as Burn Notice. Nikita is new this Autumn and has been very good so far imo. If you liked Band of Brothers and The Pacific, maybe try Generation Kill aswell. Also, The Sopranos.

Yeah 'Generation Kill' is another HBO channel series. Only the one series so no box-set for it, but good acting all the same.
