IEI Chartership Interview

    Hi,

I'm due to have my interview for chartership in the IEI soon and was just wondering if there's a common question that does the rounds in the interviews(i'm involved in highway design to be specific)? Not something job specific but a general question that comes up alot, as I know all about the jobs I included which I know they question you on but just trying to cover all bases!

Also in terms of giving the 10min synopsis of your report, can people recommend a way of going about this, do most people just talk unaided for 10mins or is it better to bring in an aid of some sort??

    Thanks in advance:)

The interview will focus on the 5 competences and sub competences. There is no set interview questions

10 mins is up to you. A good starting point is to cover off all 5 competences through projects you worked on. Leave open end statements that the interviewers will pick up on and will come back later too. You can have answers repaired then.

This isnt lick a job interview. There isnt 100 people going for 1 job. if 100 people go for this 100 people can get it. No pressure!
