Was just wondering, would it be ok to put in a new 32a mcb in the consumer unit, to use as a supply for the shed. Or would this not over load the consumer unit as the main fuse is 63a?? Thanks for any help..

What size cable is running to the shed?

A better place to start would be to decide what you need in the shed, just lights, lights and sockets, how many, and so on.

How far is the shed from the house?

Then you might get some proper answers.

Sorry, was going to run a 6 sq, bout15metres, there"ll probably be two sockets, an internal and external light. There be a clothes dryer and maybe drill chargers plugged in from time to time. Thanks for any help.

Sounds ok with a 32amp MCB feeding that, but you will want a small board in the shed with 10a for lights and an RCD with 1 or 2 20amp MCBs for the sockets.
