Hi guys. I have a little problem with my cougar. Few weeks ago the car started blowing cold air only. I have aircon in the car and if I turn the heat up to maximum the air coming out is slightly warm. Did a bit of research and I think it is blend door actuator. The only problem now is that I cant locate it. I have the glove box taken out and I am not even sure of what Im looking for. Does anybody here ever had to replace the blend door actuator on ford cougar or ford mondeo II (I think they are pretty much the same).

Ok, found the part. Its located in drivers side on right hand side car if anybody else is looking for it. Checked it, wasnt the problem. Off to take the whole front panel out...

I presume you've confirmed that hot water is getting through the heater matrix before you start pulling the car apart?
