    I was over in London for a few days and heard a news item this morning about avoiding hitting the wall in a marathon. The link attached doesn't appear to capture all the interview, and I am not sure how helpful the linked webpage is but you can have a look if interested.

    The Endurance Calculator linked from there claims that I can do a 1:51 marathon.

    Edit: Seems that the resting HR makes a huge difference to the calculations it does, and I didn't even put in the best resting HR I've had. Put that in though and it gives me a 1:39 marathon time.
