    How high are they?

Duck are a tough bird. Pattern your gun at the range you're going to be shooting and keep beefing the carts up until you put a lot of lead in a duck sized outline

    Aarowloopboy,

If they are ducks from a certain F.D.'s shoot, they dont need a very heavy load.

    But....

If it is Johnsons Drive on Castle Howard... 34g 4's with a minimum of 1/2 or 3/4 choke.

If the shooter is on peg 5 on Johnsons he is in for the time of their life...

i normally use eley 36g 6s for high duck, find them pretty good, 36g 4s can be good too.
    (my 2 cents worth)

Yes - Eley Maximum in 4's or 5's will drop high duck dead out to about 40 yards.

Remember to give them plenty of lead if they're that high.

You are going to kill duck and that is very different from shooting duck.
Its what has become the norm in this place But its not related to duck shooting. Not your fault but God help us all if what you describe is used by opponents of shooting in the future.
