    Hi,
I didnt have a clue where to put this so it might be in the wrong place.

I have a small problem, its my 21st in a few weeks and I think that my friends (and my dad) are going to organize a stripper. I dont want one and I have told them that I dont.

I just think that it is just wrong especially with children and my girlfriend, mom, grandparents etc all there.

Anyway Im pretty sure that they are still going to get one. Has anyone any suggestions on what I could do here. Thanks

Its not that I wouldnt like it, its that it would be very awkward with all of my family.
And I just dont want it to happen there

Just give them an ultimatum, tell them that if one shows up that you will simply leave the party.Of course they could call your bluff and do it anyway but hopefully it wont come to that.A 21st is not a place for a stripper.

That's in pretty bad taste of them for a family gathering

Maybe change the venue last minute? :D

I would also threaten to walk out - not in any dramatic way just firmly say that's how it is, no discussion, and that they can be the ones to explain to the gathering that they caused you to leave.

Or a better ultimatum - if they get you a stripper you'll murder him/her (not judging btw :pac:) and molest their corpse.

They want to put you in an akward position so threaten to put them in a worse one....and you better follow through on it OP!!!

your a man now, stand up and say "this is my 21st, if I say no strippers, I mean..TWO STRIPPERS!"..:)

Just sit them down and tell them you have no interest in that happening at your 21st and tell them to have a bit of respect for your wishes.

Just try and find out which stripper they're going to get and bring her over to the house to meet your mom and grandparents a few days before the 21st. That way, they'll be a bit more used to her when she comes to the party and takes all her clothes off.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: you're never too old to tell your mom on them. Trust me, if your mom says "no strippers" to your dad, he'll fukcing listen. If someone organised a stripper to show up for my birthday with my mom there, I'd kick them right the hell out of my party and expect them to call over the next day to apologise to my family.

Agree with the others, if you don't want one (and I can completely understand why, it's a family gathering, mother/gf/grandparents, possibly people under 18) then just threaten to leave if one shows up. That or tell your mother what's planned, whilst I'm not one for tattling if they're dead set on doing this against your request, you have to do something to prevent it.

Yea I think that I will just tell them that I will leave if they get me one and if I think that thats not working then I wont tell my mum but I will tell my Nanny. She'll sort my dad out :P
And if one does show up I will actually walk out and tell them all why the next day to put them all in a bad position

Forget the strippers,if they make you uncomfortable.just ask your father for a hooker for afterwards-that should make him think

IF a stripper shows up then go over to her and tell her that she doesn't have to perform but she will still be paid (by whoever hired her). Then buy her a drink and get on with the rest of your night.
She gets paid without having to work and can head off early to her next gig, you get your party and your dad is €150 out of pocket.

Have to agree with the above. A family gathering is no place for a stripper to perform. I'd feel horribly uncomfortable if that happened to me. Wouldn't imagine the mother, aunts, etc. would be impressed either.

(also, oldgoat, it's shaving, not shaveing ;) )

Think it would be very poor form to take a lapdance in front of your girlfriend. The rest of the night would be humiliating for her.

Just physically refuse. People thinking you're a spoilsport will be fewer in number than people thinking you're a bastard for doing it. And the opinion of the latter may actually matter.

MY brother's mates got him one for his 18th but he was single, kids weren't there and the parents were informed so they could leave the room before she arrived.

What time is the 21st? Maybe meet up in the pub for a few drinks before the actual 21st? Will allow them to get the stripper without any family or gf around?

Sweet jebus. Tell your dad to feck off and organise a stripper for his own birthday party ... people who book strippers against the wishes of the birthday boy or girl are only doing it for their own titillation.
