Was hitting a guys base with banshees (as you do) until his vikings showed up, as energy was low i decided to pull back but a second later energy went for one and his vikings followed it till they shot it down.

No problem, i then jinked left with remaining banshees and his vikings followed, ok i think, i changed direction again and once more they instantly follow (like they were stuck on follow) Just curious how this was possible and is it a possible bug/exploit. Was very bizare. They stopped following about 5 seconds later.
(no scans were used as he was being exposed, he had no raven and it was a 1v1 terran).

Just to point out, they weren't shooting my banshees down, just following.

    I was like WTF :p

You can always see cloaked units, like a blurry effect, you just cant attack them. Its easy to notice a cloaked unit when you know they are there wheras if you dont know they are there you probably arent going to see them. Players will always follow the cloaked banshee until it runs out of energy with vikings.

scrolling the mousewheel to change camera angle enhanses the vision of a cloked unit, so much so that you can see the shape of the unit clearly through the preditor like distortion
