    bought a 04 astra mk4 2months ago, last week the front seal fell off, i managed to put it back on and tape it up. resisted being washed twice, but todays rain came and its pouring in. any ideas? how hard is it to fit a new seal? could i put some clear silicone around the seal? thanks

    Gaffa tape it until you get it fixed properly. Clear silicone is not good for your paintwork (contains acetic acid).

    it wont be in the paintwork though itll be on the seal and the edge of the glass so it'l be ok on that front
